PROCEDURE FOR USE OF FACILITIES

1. At check in and check out, a member of user/group must perform a walk through inspection with the caretaker.

2. The Lodge must be left in the condition it was in when you arrived (see cleaning requirements).

3. Anything lost, stolen, or broken will be taken out of the deposit.

4. All appliances should be left “off” when not in use.

5. No alcohol is permitted.

6. No smoking inside the facility.

7. Any trash left from outdoor activities should be picked up and disposed of.

8. No swimming is allowed unless there is a certified lifeguard present.

9. If using canoes, an adult must be present to supervise young children. Life jackets must be worn at all times.

10. Turn off any lights not being used at night.

11. All groups are responsible for scheduling their own activities.

12. Wood is provided for campfires. Camp staff will set up campfires with proper notice.

13. All windows and doors should be closed during the heating/cooling season.

14. All heating and air controls should be left on pre-set position.

CLEANING REQUIREMENTS

1. Bathrooms must be cleaned and garbage must be disposed of properly.

2. Vacuum all floors.

3. Sweep dining room, kitchen, and bathrooms.

4. Floors mentioned above must be mopped. (for one night stays mop only visibly dirty places)

5. All furniture must be put in proper place.

6. All dishes must be washed and properly stored.

7. Kitchen appliances must be cleaned.

8. All trash is to be taken out to dumpster and new bags placed in cans.

9. Make sure that no food is left in refrigerator, freezer, stoves, etc.

10. All tables and chairs in dining hall must be taken down and stacked.

11. All cleaning products trash bags, dishwashing liquid, mops, brooms, vacuums, dish rags, and cleaning towels are provided by Dogwood Lodge.

OTHER PROCEDURES

1. Provide copy of certificate of insurance to First Baptist Church, Chattanooga.

2. Provide participant list to the caretaker when you arrive on the property.

FIREARMS POLICY

1. Possession of firearms by guests of the Dogwood Lodge camp facility are not permitted at any time.
